This 2nd generation full modular helmet comes fully equipped with improved bluetooth 2.0 technology to insure compatibility with your bluetooth enabled cell phone or iPhone. With two speakers and up to 15 hours of continuous talk time and 600 hours of standby time, the V210 B1 allows you to use your iPhone or standard cell phone, listen to stereo music streaming from your MP3, phone, or XM radio, as well as listen to GPS directions clearly. Combine two or more V210 B1 helmets, and enjoy communications from rider to passenger, and passenger to rider (intercom), or talk bike to bike (2-way communications within 10 meters). Other features include a noise cancelling microphone, full duplex communications with DSP filter, self adjusting volume, glove friendly and waterproof controls. Multifunction LED indicators let you know when your battery is low. When this occurs, simply use the 110 volt/220 volt charger included and you'll receive a full charge in just 6 hours. Though the V210B1 is hot on technology, the primary focus is safety. This DOT approved helmet is constructed of ultra light thermoplastic material and is aerodynamically shaped for ease of cutting through the air with less buffeting and wind noise, thus lessening the stress on the riders neck muscles after a long ride. The face cover lock mechanism exceeds expectations for safety by utilizing metal pins and hooks, making it extremely resistant to opening in the event of an accident. I have a Honda VTX 1800 with Vance & Hines Gigantic Shots pipes, & and a 150cc scooter. I use this helmet with both bikes, & I have nice experiences with both. I have an iPhone, & the helmet connects seamlessly. Audio streaming is great, whether vcan bluetooth helmet is from the iPod or other 3rd-party audio streaming apps. Phone functionality is great...couldn't be simpler. button to answer calls, push the same button again to hang up. Pressing the button one time will redial your last number called. Admittedly, the twisting volume control is a tiny difficult when wearing bulkier winter gloves. Even at speeds of 50-60mph on my cruiser, people on the other finish of my phone call state that they have no issue understanding me. They can tell that I am not speaking in to my phone as normal, but there's been no quality complaints (I always use the phone function with the helmet in the ""full-face"" position).
